Maamoul elbate

A luxurious type of incense crafted by hand, based primarily on oud or sandalwood. The agarwood is finely ground then mixed with other ingredients, and finally shaped into different forms (squares, triangles), with each piece usually wrapped in foil.

Ground oud (agarwood) – the main base, typically from Moroccan, Indian, or Indonesian agarwood

Oud oil – added to moisten the mixture and strengthen the scent

Cardamom and sugar – added during preparation to help bind the mixture

Additional scents such as musk (white or black), amber, and rose – added purely to give a distinctive fragrance without affecting the incense's core properties
